How To Install Android Apps On Usb Storage

    ane) Anyone know how to brand the USB storage the default location for app downloads? I take around 13GB of complimentary retentivity on my Nexus S and want all my apps to become in that location..but I have to ship each app one by one. Anyone know how to download them straight to the USB, or mass-motility them all at one time?

    2) Are there any good OFFLINE dictionaries? I've tried some only they aren't offline!

    From what I sympathize none of the apps tin can actually be fully stored outside the phone retentiveness; some fleck is always left on the phone. All the appstorage apps do is move the moveable parts.
  3. You can prepare the default install location to your SD bill of fare. Just exist enlightened that a.) widgets, services and polling apps should e'er exist installed to your telephone's internal memory. b.) Any new widgets and services installed after y'all gear up the default location must be checked and moved dorsum to internal memory before using them, and c.) Fifty-fifty with the default location set to external memory, some apps will always install to internal retentivity.

    If you lot've got 2.2 or higher You change the default location to the SD card like this ... (And, one time that is changed you can motion fifty-fifty more apps to the SD card, even though they were installed to internal memory.)

    You'll need to have the Android SDK installed. How-To Install Android SDK On Windows, Mac and Linux

    Then on your telephone get to settings>applications>evolution and enable USB Debugging. Plug your phone into the PC using the USB cable.

    open a command prompt on your PC (start>run type "cmd" press ENTER)

    Change directory to the android-sdk-windows\tools folder

    At the prompt type

    At present the default location to install apps is the SD menu. And, some apps that you couldn't move to the SD carte will now be able to be moved. If you follow the steps higher up and you install a widget afterwards, yous will need to go to settings>applications>manage applications and manually move it to the phone. If you want to set the default install location back to the phone, you just repeat the process but utilize

    ^ I found this procedure online likewise, just didn't want to mess with my phone's code simply yet...as I simply got it.

    And for that QuickDic app, that merely seems to translate from different languages, not define the word, if I am not mistaken.
